PROJECT MANAGER
 


The Job

We are seeking a smart up and coming Project Manager to manage a broad range of web development projects. Projects will range from small to quite significant. Clients also range from SMEs through to some of the world's leading brands. You will be managing projects from a few hours/few hundred dollars through to tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars in value and months in development.

Your role is to work between clients, developers and the Managing Director to ensure quality on time on budget outcomes for a wide range of projects. You will work on all projects from the outset and will be involved in understanding client requirements, communicating with developers to ensure things are running to schedule, communicating delivery of mile stones to clients, managing change requests, invoicing, achieving development quotas and more.

This is a very busy role where you will learn an incredible amount about the web development industry while refining your already excellent project management / multi tasking skills.

The Person we need

We are seeking a highly intelligent up and coming Project Manager. You may or many not have experience in the web industry. This is not as important as your ability to multi task, communicate effectively and stay on top of up to 15 projects at a time.

Your background could be in Advertising, Executive Assistant, Marketing, PR, Commerce or similar.

What we really need:

- You must be degree qualified
- Highly effective communicator
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Experience multi tasking in a busy/demanding environment
- You will have rave referees
- You will be an outgoing, social person who can communicate well and get along with people in all positions from all walks of life
- You will have a great sense of humour and will be looking for an enjoyable work environment

Nice to haves

- It would be great if you had experience working in a web development environemnt or similar, However please note this is not essential.
- Project Management skills and qualifications would also be great however we acknowledge that many roles require PM skills without actually being called Project Managers.

The Package
Salary as always is somewhat negotiable however we are looking in the $60-$70k base range, plus bonuses and super. Total annual earnings will be between $70-$90k.
