A Key Performance Indicator, or KPI, is a formative component of employee’s role that must be executed well in order for the employee to succeed and grow in the role. It is identified as a KPI because it is an element by which an employee’s performance can be measured and assessed.
KPI’s are determined in order to quantify how well an individual or company is performing overall, in the context of their team or competitive environment.
After a placement has been completed, a worker will usually return to their usual place of work, ideally with insight to bring to their role or business.
