You asked and we listened! This month we’re excited to bring more improvements to the JobAdder mobile app to give your fingers a rest (finally!). The mobile team is back with Automatic Notes Creation and Speech-to-Text features.

Automatic Note Creation
Have you ever called a candidate from the JobAdder app but forgotten what the conversation was about or the next steps you have to take? Automatic note creation is here to help across every category in the app (Jobs, Job Applications, Candidates, Contacts, Companies & Placements) for calls, emails or SMS.
Once you complete an action using the JobAdder app (such as calling that contact) and return to the app, a screen will appear with the following information pre-filled:
- Note Type – here you can select the type of note you wish to record.
- Note Text – one sentence displaying the user who logged the action, the name of the individual contacted and the source (in this case, the JobAdder app).
Once you’re happy with the content of the note (you can even edit it), tap ‘Save’ and it will be visible in the JobAdder app and JobAdder on the web.
Study says speech-to-text is 3x faster than typing on your phone. Yes, you read that correctly, 3 times faster! With that in mind, we’ve added this feature to the JobAdder app to help you save time and recruit on the go.
It’s super easy to use, from the note creation screen just tap the microphone button and start speaking. Once you’ve finished, tap the button again, and your text will be on the screen. Give your fingers a rest and record notes when rushing to that next important meeting. We know you don’t have time to waste.
