With offices in four major Australian cities including Sydney and Melbourne, the team of 20 staff focus the majority of their work on bulk recruitment. SMAART\u2019s clients range from SMEs to medium-sized enterprises across a wide range of industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The challenge: Outdated legacy systems<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When SMAART was first established, the team originally used Excel and Outlook to manage candidates and job applications. However, as they grew, the need for a more robust platform was evident, leading SMAART to find JobAdder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How JobAdder was able to help<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SMAART partnered with JobAdder over a decade ago, and was a member of the beta testing team. It\u2019s really a partnership in every sense of the word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t stay with a software partner for 10+ years if you don\u2019t think that their product is any good.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Smart integrations for centralised recruiting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Through JobAdder\u2019s marketplace of 100+ integrations, SMAART is able to plug and play and build a centralised recruitment stack that works for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been able to onboard different tools from Referoo to TalentTap. At the end of the day, consultants spend up to 90% of their day on one platform so it\u2019s been great that they can stay within JobAdder and access all these tools,\u201d Maarten says.<span id=\"docs-internal-guid-d68eebc9-7fff-89b6-8d0e-2732b776a334\"><div><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-variant-position: normal; vertical-align: baseline;\"><\/span><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cutting ad spend with better candidate sourcing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the last few years SMAART has worked to depend less on posting to job boards, and focussed instead on making the most of their existing database. This not only saves significant time and admin, but also reduces spend on advertising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using this change of tactic through JobAdder, SMAART has been able to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reduce candidate sourcing from job boards from 80% to 40-50%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve candidate sourcing from existing databases from 10% to up to 50%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0Investing in more tools<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the savings from reduced ad spend, SMAART is able to invest in other pieces of technology to help enhance their database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe key thing for us as an agency is speed to market. Often in the work that we do, we\u2019re not only competing against an internal talent team, we\u2019re competing against another agency. In bulk recruitment, it\u2019s almost a case of \u2018first in, best dressed\u2019 so we don\u2019t have days to get candidates through a job ad; it\u2019s really a case of hours.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A recruitment solution that grows with your agency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When recommending JobAdder, Maarten focuses on the adaptability and&amp; customisation of the platform, the ability to integrate a variety of tools and a price that\u2019s spot on.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d also point out JobAdder\u2019s customer support.
