A recruiter for 28 years, Lisa has been in rec2rec for the last 12 years and been a JobAdder user for the better part of a decade. Lisa moved across from her old ATS largely because of the integrations that JobAdder offered as well as the support. \u201cWithin five minutes, someone is either chatting to you or online. If there is a problem, you\u2019ve got IT support immediately and it\u2019s in the same time zone. It\u2019s very responsive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also appreciates the frequent updates JobAdder offers. \u201cI also like the fact that it\u2019s always up to date or ahead of its time. Often on a Monday you come in and something is improved on the platform, along with a video to show you how to use it.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When speed is needed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For Lisa, the choice of platform came down to one thing: \u201cAs with any agency, you\u2019re in a competitive environment. When you\u2019re putting information in, you need to be able to get it out fast because your competitors are all trying to get to theirs as well. It\u2019s a case of who can get to that candidate first? So the speed of access to information is really key.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI get called regularly to move to another system. I don\u2019t feel I need to,\u201d she said, adding that \u201cfor some reason when you think of JobAdder, you think of people. You don\u2019t necessarily think of a system.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an early adopter of JobAdder, Lisa feels she uses JobAdder quite efficiently. \u201cIt\u2019s easy and it\u2019s up to date with the latest technology; it\u2019s reliable and I don\u2019t have system downtime,\u201d she explained, pointing also to JobAdder\u2019s huge focus on learning and development.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The value in automation&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs a small business, I need to be highly automated as I\u2019m probably covering the work of three. So I need a tool that\u2019s highly effective. For years I\u2019ve been SMSing and recording my conversations on my phone. I can be anywhere, doing anything. If I\u2019m highly efficient, it gives me more time to have face time with my candidates and clients versus sitting here doing admin and processing documents.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisa added that recruiters needed to embrace their system 150% \u201cbecause you just can\u2019t survive without the use of it. It\u2019s too competitive.
