The Registered Nurse will collaborate with other medical professionals across healthcare disciplines to meet patient needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Brief<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to assess and coordinate patient care. The Registered Nurse will use appropriate resources to ensure safe, quality care for physical and mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
  • Perform physical exam and visual assessment of patient<\/li>
  • Utilize appropriate interview techniques to obtain health and substance abuse<\/li>
  • history<\/li>
  • Analyse data from screening procedure to determine appropriate treatment<\/li>
  • services.<\/li>
  • Document pertinent information in a timely and accurate manner<\/li>
  • Report patient condition and progress to patient\u2019s physician<\/li>
  • Perform treatments and provide preventative care to patients per MD orders<\/li>
  • Maintain accurate patient tracking and care logs<\/li>
  • Discharge patients after consultation with the physician and other clinical staff.<\/li>
  • Develop and document a plan of care that involves physician, patient and family<\/li>
  • in goal setting<\/li>
  • Make referral to additional resources as appropriate<\/li>
  • Treat patients and family members with respect and dignity<\/li>
  • Other duties as necessary<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    • Excellent spoken and written English skills<\/li>
    • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills<\/li>
    • Must have good computer skills with strong knowledge of electronic charting<\/li>
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment<\/li>
    • Ability to respond to emergencies in a decisive and composed manner<\/li>
    • Current Registered Nursing License<\/li>
    • Current BLS, ACLS, PALSL or ENPC certification<\/li>
    • Must have graduated from an accredited Nursing School<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
