Job Brief<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for a Head of Finance.  The Head of Finance will assist the VP in handling and managing all aspects of financial and statutory reporting.  The Head of Finance will have a proven track record in financial leadership roles, be proactive and problem-solving-oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to and meeting deadlines. This role is fast-paced and will have a direct impact on the company\u2019s ability to accurately forecast and make key business decisions based on such forecasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
  • Take decisive action to ensure sustainable growth<\/li>
  • Oversee all aspects of Finance including Accounting, Regulatory Reporting and Tax<\/li>
  • Assist VP in preparation of the budget and financial forecasts<\/li>
  • Prepare financial reporting-related analyses highlighting variances relative to expectations<\/li>
  • Develop cash flow forecasts and balance sheet outcomes based on budgets and forecasts<\/li>
  • Coordinate management preparation of the budget for review<\/li>
  • Enforce general company financial and accounting policies<\/li>
  • Assist the VP of Finance with audits and solving various problems<\/li>
  • Assist management in the analysis of prospective acquisitions<\/li>
  • Stay informed on current regulatory industry developments and update Company guidelines to ensure compliance<\/li>
  • Understand the current state of the company\u2019s financial reporting and analysis systems<\/li>
  • Provide recommendations based on analysis and planning process<\/li>
  • Manage operations strategy and growth<\/li>
  • Drive financial planning and performance analysis<\/li>
  • Manage a team of financial professionals<\/li>
  • Partner with business leaders for fast, reliable, and insightful decision support<\/li>
  • Manage the annual budget and strategic planning processes<\/li>
  • Take decisive action to ensure sustainable growth<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    • 10 or more years of relevant financial experience with at least two years in a management position<\/li>
    • Able to perform cash and accrual accounting<\/li>
    • Experience in cash and accrual-based accounting<\/li>
    • Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organisation<\/li>
    • Experience preparing written reports and documenting business processes<\/li>
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>
    • Strong analytical and conceptual skills<\/li>
    • Excellent organisational and project management skills<\/li>
    • Detail oriented with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines<\/li>
    • Able to train, coach and enable the development of others<\/li>
    • Strong computer skills<\/li>
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment<\/li>
    • Proven success in taking projects from conception to execution<\/li>
    • Strong interpersonal skills<\/li>
    • Experience in analysing financials and operations to drive growth<\/li>
    • MBA preferred<\/li>
