Candidate assessment refers to the process an employer undertakes to determine whether they are suitable for the role they’ve applied for. This assessment can take many forms including a reveiw of the candidate‘s resume and cover ketter, a pre-selection process, a formal interview, various online tools including skills & behaviourial assessment and personality tests as well as social profile reviews. The complexity and seniority of a role can determine to what extent these assessments are included in the hiring process.
