What is Candidate Assessment?
Candidate assessment refers to the process an employer undertakes to determine whether they are suitable for the role they’ve applied for. This assessment can take many forms including a review of the candidate‘s resume and cover letter, a pre-selection process, a formal interview, various online tools including skills and behavioural assessment and personality tests as well as social profile reviews. The complexity and seniority of a role can determine to what extent these assessments are included in the hiring process.
