Recruitment glossary
What is In-House?
In-House refers to a division of the HR team that recruits and onboards employees for the organisation in which they work. Such teams are generally found in large multi-national corporations and can save companies the cost and need to outsource the hiring process. In some instances, in-house HR teams work with external agencies to fill high numbers of vacancies or hard to fill roles. The term can also refer to a search to fill vacancies by promoting the role internally.
