A Recruitment Management System, or RMS, is a system that is built with the purpose of assisting and managing the whole process of recruitment from end-to-end, from job order through to final placement of a candidate.
Recruitment Management Systems provide recruitment solutions that are used by internal HR departments and recruitment companies, and are often referred to as simply recruitment software. RMS also have a number of different names, including ATS, E-Recruitment Software, Recruitment Systems and Staffing Software. The differences in these names arise depending on where in the world the term is used and on the differing functionality of the RMS itself.
