We are looking for a Head of Finance.  The Head of Finance will assist the VP in handling and managing all aspects of financial and statutory reporting.  The Head of Finance will have a proven track record in financial leadership roles, be proactive and problem-solving-oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to and meeting deadlines. This role is fast-paced and will have a direct impact on the company’s ability to accurately forecast and make key business decisions based on such forecasts.


  • Take decisive action to ensure sustainable growth
  • Oversee all aspects of Finance including Accounting, Regulatory Reporting and Tax
  • Assist VP in preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
  • Prepare financial reporting-related analyses highlighting variances relative to expectations
  • Develop cash flow forecasts and balance sheet outcomes based on budgets and forecasts
  • Coordinate management preparation of the budget for review
  • Enforce general company financial and accounting policies
  • Assist the VP of Finance with audits and solving various problems
  • Assist management in the analysis of prospective acquisitions
  • Stay informed on current regulatory industry developments and update Company guidelines to ensure compliance
  • Understand the current state of the company’s financial reporting and analysis systems
  • Provide recommendations based on analysis and planning process
  • Manage operations strategy and growth
  • Drive financial planning and performance analysis
  • Manage a team of financial professionals
  • Partner with business leaders for fast, reliable, and insightful decision support
  • Manage the annual budget and strategic planning processes
  • Take decisive action to ensure sustainable growth


  • 10 or more years of relevant financial experience with at least two years in a management position
  • Able to perform cash and accrual accounting
  • Experience in cash and accrual-based accounting
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience preparing written reports and documenting business processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Detail oriented with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Able to train, coach and enable the development of others
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Proven success in taking projects from conception to execution
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in analysing financials and operations to drive growth
  • MBA preferred
  • Able to adapt to an evolving organisation
