What is a Contract Recruiter?

A contract recruiter, also referred to as a headhunter, is a talent acquisition professional who works on a short-term contract basis. There is a contract, or exclusive recruiting agreement, between the recruiter and their client. During the length of the contract, the contract recruiter works exclusively for the client, sourcing, screening and communicating with candidates on the client’s behalf.
