What is the Candidate Journey?
Candidate journey refers to the process a job seeker goes through and includes: Awareness, Consideration, Interest, Application, Selection and Hire. The first stage is when a candidate becomes aware of an organisation through its employer brand. They may then take this further by researching the company as well as any competitors. Depending on the strength of the employer brand and the company’s offerings, the candidate may show interest by engaging with the company before then applying for an open role. At this point, the candidate goes through the selection process before being hired.
