Peter joined the Recruitment industry in 1984 in a sales role within the blue collar sector in Melbourne.

He later moved to the UK where he negotiated large national staffing accounts in white collar then moved into branch and regional management roles. Upon returning to Australia, he secured a General Management role of a small business enjoying sufficient growth and success to prompt him to embark on his own business journey. Peter acquired Horner Recruitment in 2005 growing the business to become a successful, leading player in the local market. He is now officially non- operational having appointed a CEO to manage Horner in 2020 but remains close to the business and to the industry. Peter served 10 years on the national board of the RCSA including 2 years as Vice President. He is currently a member of their Professional Practice Council and was awarded Life Membership of the RCSA in 2020.
