One major achievement would be our time to hire. That’s been smashed down to around 22-odd days so we’ve halved what the KPI was.
The Hiring Manager tool has allowed us to further automate and reduce the amount of admin in our process. Our business is very “fast-moving”, and I believe that JobAdder aligns to that. We get the quick response time out of JobAdder, which is what we need to successfully perform in our roles.
JobAdder allows us to tie into international job boards very easily, which means that we can get their brand out into regions they don’t usually have access to.
The guys love using JobAdder, and when the guys love using JobAdder they take to it and the complexity of day-to-day procedural things is dramatically different to the way that people feel about having to do a chore. They like using JobAdder and we all use it wherever we are with the mobile app or our laptops.
You can really see how far ahead in the process managers are – it gives me a bird’s eye view of the recruitment process and where we are falling down. I also really love that you can set up email templates, where I can bulk email [and] insert fields so it looks more personalised. It just allows me to do things quicker than if I was doing a manual process. It’s quite intuitive.
It’s time-saving, but ultimately for me, it’s the candidate experience that is the biggest value add, to give candidates the attention that they need.
