Job Brief

We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) who will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of our company’s marketing and advertising initiatives.  The CMO’s responsibilities will include deep involvement in our sales strategy and management, new business development, service channel development, and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee corporate marketing strategy
  • Direct strategic branding, advertising and promotion for the company
  • Oversee in-house collateral creation, graphic production and fulfillment services
  • Collaborate on website management and maintenance to drive continuous improvement in user experience
  • Ensure appropriate placements in relevant publications, blogs and other meaningful communication channels
  • Responsible for marketing and advertising budget management and expense control
  • Formulate goals for social media metrics, advertising and marketing campaign initiatives
  • Provide leadership, direction and management of the market research function
  • Develop a marketing reporting function that can track, measure and analyse performance
  • Ensure all marketing communications are coordinated and are an effective use of company resources
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with strategic plans and objectives
  • Provide marketing skills and expertise to the company by building, developing and managing a marketing team
  • Prepare presentations to explain the company’s current and future strategies
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Familiarity with strategic marketing campaigns
  • Strong business acumen
  • Deep understanding of changing market dynamics
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management
  • Superb analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and project development skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Ability to convey personal effectiveness and credibility
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
