Sean has over 30 years’ experience in law enforcement, corporate security, risk  management, learning & development, international air express and logistics. 

Since 2018 Sean has been involved in providing Career Transition services for first responders, specifically NSW Police through the Charity Beyond the Badge which he set up with his mate and business partner Simon Bradstock. He is passionate about ensuring first responders are looked after once they leave their agencies after their service.

Tony Pownall

Co-Founder, Cultivate

As the co-founder of Cultivate, Tony’s focus is on ensuring Cultivate is a ‘great place to work’ and a ‘great company to work with’.  He personally delivers best practice recruitment training and executive search services to clients and workshops to job seekers. Tony spent over a decade leading high performing recruitment teams as GM and Country Manager in NZ and Asia before setting up Cultivate in 2021. Now 20 people strong the Cultivate team are passionate about challenging traditional recruitment industry norms, in particular bringing greater transparency, compassion and inclusion to the candidate experience.

Helping businesses to build a sustainable future based on ‘performance through people’ is what drives him in business hours. Outside of work he’s hopelessly addicted to cycling and getting outdoors. A pursuit made easier by having to keep up with two very active children.
